A journey which started by looking at one of the most characteristic facets of the Icelandic culture; the relation to fishery. Among discussions with locals, the harbour refers to an emotional place related from far to the rational infrastructures. By a selective harvest of materials and cultural portraits which link the fishery culture of the old days to the contemporary icelandic society, this installation is a path celebrating and showing the potential of those materials as new insights into the fishery ressources. Both as a medium of cultural transmission as functional materials for use.
